We are born to run, but I could barely walk!

At 55, when I thought I was moving better than ever and was very athletic, both of my hips had ligament damage from a lifetime of overstretching went out at a movement camp. But I learned what to strengthen to unlock the springs and free energy in my body over 11 months and sprinting feels like flying for the first time in my life! I always HATED runnuning. Deb Voisin

Deb has helped many people improve their movement quality in her 30 years as a movement educator and design researcher. Her passion for researching and teaching mindful movement arises from finding unexpected movement solutions to lifelong biomechanical inefficiencies that she only discovered through repeated and sometimes catastrophic injuries using mainstream yoga, fitness and stretching protocols.
At age 56, she is moving better than ever thanks in great part to years of intesne study with some of the world's most notable movement education pioneers including Esther Gokhale, Youssouf Koumbassa, Frey Faust, Ido Portal's Santa Cruz Movement, David Weck, Functional Patterns, and hundreds of other teachers across many movement discilples.
In 2022, she co-created the paradigm-breaking book "101 Useless and Damaging Exercises and What To Do Instead: Healthy Alignment Is Definitely Not Straight!" with Frey Faust, which received enthusiastic reviews from some of the world's top professional sports strength and conditionoing coaches. Her soul mission is to help people better respect, understand, repair, and enjoy the ultimate technology- their own perfectly imperfect body...in its glorious ordinariness!
